Letter from the IGMUN Director

It is my pleasure to formally invite you to the 5th annual session of the Inter-Generational Model United Nations (IGMUN), to be held on October 10th, 2015 on the prestigious University of California, Berkeley campus. This year IGMUN has the distinct honor of being hosted not only the Bay Area but also for the 2nd year UNA Chicago will host an IGMUN in November at the University of Chicago International House.

IGMUN is a unique experience among MUN simulations. It is a one day program of the United Nations Association USA, Northern California Division, where delegates of all ages participate in debate as representatives of UN Member States, collaborating to reach agreement about priority international issues through the simulation of the United Nations.

IGMUN is designed as a teaching and learning conference and is intended for both novices and delegates with prior Model UN experience. Participants will have a unique experience in dialoging and collaborating with other guests including notable leaders in civic affairs and international relations.

Please check out the list of committees and topics we are simulating at this year’s conference by clicking here.

If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your support to our conference, and we hope to see you at IGMUN this October!
